Vasogram
This happens, when the semen contains no sperm, or whose testis doesn't secrete or there is block in the tube. To detect this an X-ray of the tube is taken and this is called
Vasogram.
Cryo Preservation of Sperms (Semen Bank)
It is a facility for preserving the sperms for longer duration.
Embryo Cryopreservation
Following initial treatment a maximum of three embryos are transferred. Depending on the quality of the spare embryos, they may be frozen for transfer at a later date. This center has facilities for freezing using latest technology from Crygologic of Australia.

In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
In broad terms the IVF procedure consists of recovering eggs from ovary, fertilising them with sperm and transferring the resulting embryos into the uterus. In this procedure the sperm and eggs are simply cultured together overnight.
IVF has changed the prospects in the female. IVF involves retrieving eggs from the ovaries by Trans vaginal aspiration and incubating the sperms in a dish resulting in formation of embryos, which are then transferred into the uterine cavity. IVF cannot be used for severe male factor infertility and for the sperms retrieved from the testis or
epidiymis.
Sperm and Embryo Donation
Gamete donation raises many complex issues and couples contemplating such treatments psychological implications will be explored fully. Sperm donors are matched as closely as possible for physical characteristics and blood group to the male partner of women receiving the donor sperm. Donor sperm can be used for donor insemination and for IVF.
Eggs are recovered from the donor and the sperm from the recipient’s partner is used to inseminate the eggs in the laboratory either by IVF or ICSI. The resulting embryos are transferred two or three days later to the recipient’s uterus.
Egg donation is indicated for the following reasons:
- Premature menopause.
- Genetic abnormality.
- Poor ovarian response to hormonal stimulation.
- Absence of ovaries.
- Ovarian failure due to chemotherapy/radiotherapy.
Thermal
Balloon Ablation of Endometrium - for Menorrhogea.
This a new modality to control excessive uterine haemorrhogea by removing inner most layer of uterus i.e.
Endomertrum.
In this procedure, a special designed Balloon Catheter is passed through uterine cavity . A heated fluid is passed through catheter to create certain fix intra uterine pressure. Procedure is continued for 10-15 min. The procedure can be done under local anaesthesia or under general
anaesthesia.
